Our fight to protect our local countryside from the proposed solar factory is gaining momentum, and we want to keep our community up to date with the progress we’ve made, the support we’ve secured, and the ways you can get involved.
Campaign Group & Committee Formed
We’re pleased to announce that our campaign group is now officially set up, with a dedicated committee working hard to coordinate activities and strategy. This is a huge step forward in organising our community’s efforts.
Website Now Live
Thanks to Emma's hard work, our campaign website is now live. While Emma continues to add more features and resources, we’ll also keep everyone informed via email in the meantime.
Template Letter to Send to Authorities
To make it easier for everyone to have their say, we’ve created a template letter that you can send to local authorities and other key stakeholders. This is a quick and powerful way to make your voice heard. If you’d like a copy, simply contact us and we’ll send it to you.
Drone Footage Captured
We’ve now filmed drone footage of the area under threat. We’re working on overlaying key information onto the footage to clearly show the potential impact of the development.
Support from Local MPs
We recently met with Fay Broomfield and Peter Fox, both of whom are fully supportive of our objections to the proposed development. A special thank you goes to Fay for her tireless work and assistance in moving our cause forward.
Campaign Signs – Available for £15
We’re having campaign signs printed for display in our community. If you’d like to show your support visibly, these are available for a £15 donation to help cover costs. Get in touch to reserve yours.
Flyer Coming Soon – Volunteers Needed
We have a new flyer going to print within the next 7 days. Once ready, we’ll be doing a community-wide mail drop. If you can spare some time to help with delivery, we’d be incredibly grateful.
Question Raised in the Senedd
Our campaign has now reached the Welsh Senedd, with a formal question being raised about the proposed solar factory. This is a significant step in gaining political attention and pressing for answers.
How You Can Help
This campaign is powered by our community — every voice, every volunteer, and every act of support matters. Whether it’s helping with the mail drop, displaying a sign, donating towards our efforts, or simply sharing our message with neighbours, your involvement makes a difference.
Together, we can protect our community, our landscape, and our future.
